Mishawaka, IN – In honor of Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month, River Valley Construction Group is stepping up to support the fight against cystic fibrosis (CF)—a life-threatening genetic disease affecting children and young adults. Inspired by a personal connection to the cause, owner DJ Tavernier announced that throughout May 2024, River Valley will donate a portion of every project sale to help advance CF research and support those affected by the disease.
The company pledges to donate:
- $2,500 for every home sold
- $1,000 for every home addition
- $500 for every deck sold
This initiative holds deep personal significance for DJ Tavernier, whose nephew Arlo was diagnosed with CF. Through these donations, River Valley Construction Group aims to not only build homes but also build hope for individuals and families battling CF both locally and nationwide.
“We are committed to making a difference,” said Tavernier. “Every home, every addition, every deck sold this month will contribute to the fight against this disease. Let’s not only build our community but also help fund life-saving research and support for those affected.”
